Blockchain event at Grenoble Chamber of Commerce

The Grenoble Chamber of Commerce Ecobiz Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club held a Blockchain-themed event on September 25, 2018.

Blockchain technology is the topic of many questions and the source of great hope. The purpose of the meeting was to address citizens’ main concerns about the technology.

It is hard to remember how we ever did without social networks and other online platforms. Sites from Facebook to AirBnB and BlablaCar let us communicate easily and access a broad array of services. But how trustworthy are these platforms? Do they really care about our privacy? Are they secure? Do we really know how they work?

According to many experts, blockchain is capable of restoring users’ digital trust. But is this really true?
