CARAC is the annual international event dedicated to materials characterization for industry supported by the IRT Nanoelec and the European projects CalipsoPlus, NFFA and SINE2020. CARAC 2019 (November 28th-29th of 2019, Grenoble, France) gathered 60 attendees from the European research scene for presentations of industrial cases, tutorials on advanced characterization techniques and technical visits of two great research infrastructures (ESRF & ILL) of the European Neutrons & Photons Science campus, of the UGA-CNRS facilities (Genesis platform at the Laboratory of Subatomic Physics & Cosmology – LPSC and Néel Institute) and of the Grenoble-INP Technological platform for characterizing materials (CMTC).
