CIME Nanotech

Academic center for Microelectronics and Nanotechnology

The CIME Nanotec is a joint research and education platform dedicated to microelectronics and nanotechnology. The mission of the center is to offer state of the art facilities to support research and education in the fields of integrated devices for nanoelectronics and systems, biochips, integrated circuits design and test, nanocaracterisation, smart devices, sensors and actuators, MEMS and NEMS, hyper-frequency and guided optics. The center is part of a national network providing service to micro and nanotechnology research and education community. The CIME Nanotech hosts every year around 1800 people coming from 12 universities nationwide and from 30 laboratories (LMGP, TIMA, IMEP-LAHC, Spintec, CEA, CNRS,…). The center is jointly operated by the Grenoble Institute of Technology and the Université Joseph Fourier of Grenoble and receives the support of the IRT Nanoelec since 2012.
