Talking about what sports will look like in the future is one thing. Experiencing it is another! Sport Unlimitech, the first-ever trade show dedicated to sports and innovation, was held at Matmut Stadium in Lyon from September 19 to 21. The program included lectures, exhibitors, demonstrations, and—of course—sports. The event, created by French rugby player
Frédéric Michalak, gives visitors an opportunity to interact with the innovations that will revolutionize sports.
Minalogic and the IRT Nanoelec Easytech program supported by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regional government attended this flagship event, exhibiting under the Minalogic banner with four companies, including Ido Data, as well as Grenoble Institute of Technology, all members of the Easytech program:
- Microoled, which develops and commercializes miniature OLED displays for visions systems like glasses and goggles.
- Ido Data, which uses IoT and digital technology to co-develop innovative alert solutions with partners that are experts in their fields.
- Up Trainer, which makes a soccer ball launcher that brings the latest advances in technology to players and coaches.
- Grenoble Institute of Technology-ESISAR, which offers engineering students opportunities to complete projects with industrial companies. A team of three fourth-year students is working full time for six months on a need expressed by a company with logistics resources and equipment dedicated to their project.
