The SidO professionals-only IoT trade show was held in Lyon on April 6–7.
The event brings together IoT professionals from across Europe to help businesses imagine new uses for the connected objects of the future and make the IoT an economic reality.
The IRT Nanoelec Easytech program, run by Minalogic, attended the event with several companies.
The event also featured a showroom displaying a variety of products resulting from Minalogic-certified collaborative R&D projects and from the IRT Nanoelec Easytech program (Dracula Technologies’ Nomad Business solution and the future induction charger with integrated data transfer by Bidul&Co).
With more than 5,000 visitors, SidO is a major IoT event and a unique opportunity for participating companies to build their networks, generate leads, and identify potential partners.
A number of large corporations and retailers attended: Schneider Electric, STMicroelectronics, French home appliance and electronics retailer Boulanger, Amazon, and others. Their presence was a boon to startups, who came away with crucial contacts for their development projects.
And for the Easytech program, the event offered the chance to spread the word about IRT Nanoelec programming, meet with businesses seeking new technologies, and with project initiators. In all, Easytech added more than 50 new contacts to its database, boosting the potential for future projects!
