IRT Nanoelec will be at the Cyber Security Awareness Week 2018 European finals from November 8 to 10, 2018 (https://csaw.io).
Grenoble Institute of Technology’s Esisar school will host the European finals, which will take place at the same time as the finals on other continents organized by New York University Tandon School of Engineering, lndian Institute of Technology Kaanpur, Sup’Com Tunis, the University of Haifa, and Ibero-American University of Mexico City.
The main events at CSAW Europe are:
- The Digital Investigation Challenge for high-schoolers.
- The Applied Research Challenge for PhD candidates in any cybersecurity-related field (https://csaw.io/research).
- The Embedded Security Challenge for embedded and cyber-physical systems security (https://csaw.io/esc).
- The Capture the Flag Challenge for IT and networks (https://csaw.io/ctf).
Last year, more than 12,000 competitors representing 98 countries completed the preliminary rounds; some 400 top students made it to the finals, held on November 9 to 11, 2017. The 2017 European finals in Valence, France pitted nearly 80 students from more than 20 universities across Europe against one another in four events judged by a panel of more than 20 cybersecurity experts from academia and industry.
