Dans un article d\u00e9pos\u00e9 sur ArXiv, une \u00e9quipe de la startup Alice&amp;Bob et de l\u2019institut de physique th\u00e9orique du CEA, soutenue par le programme Nanoelec\/Q-Loop, explore une architecture distribu\u00e9e adapt\u00e9e aux qubits supraconducteurs ayant une connectivit\u00e9 planaire, tirant parti du code de surface pour la correction des erreurs et permettant des op\u00e9rations tol\u00e9rantes aux pannes. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des simulations num\u00e9riques \u00e9valuant l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 d&#8217;un code de surface distribu\u00e9 entre plusieurs processeurs et compte tenu d&#8217;une architecture minimaliste, l\u2019\u00e9quipe a identifi\u00e9 les exigences du r\u00e9seau qui permettent la factorisation d&#8217;un nombre RSA-2048 (soit un nombre \u00e0 617 chiffres).<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 condition d&#8217;avoir des liens quantiques capables de pr\u00e9parer des \u00e9tats intriqu\u00e9s avec une fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 de 98,4 % entre les modules, le surco\u00fbt (en nombre de qubits et en temps de calcul, par rapport \u00e0 une architecture avec un seul gros processeur) d\u00fb \u00e0 l&#8217;utilisation de petits modules devient n\u00e9gligeable.
